Brand: UNI-SOLAR ® Currently, United Solar Ovonic's Auburn Hills 1 (AH1) facility operates at 28MW annual production capacity. The Auburn Hills 2 (AH2) location operates at 30MW and is a duplicate of its AH1 facility. AH2 began commercial production in December 2006.

The next phase of the expansion has already begun. A third manufacturing facility in Greenville, Michigan — Greenville 1 (GV1) with an annual production capacity of 60MW became operational in November 2007. A fourth manufacturing facility, Greenville 2 (GV2), with an annual production capacity of 60MW, is expected to become operational in 2008.

ECD announced in May 2008 that it will begin hiring to accommodate the recently announced expansion to add 120MWs nameplate capacity to its existing Greenville Campus. With this expansion the total employment at the site is planned to reach about 800 team members.

Together with a previously announced expansion the company’s nameplate capacity will expand to approximately 300MWs by the end of fiscal 2010.
